Dubai to welcome 26 new private education institutions in 2026-27

Summary

Dubai will add 26 new private education institutions during the 2026-27 academic year, expanding options across the emirate. Two globally recognised universities will also open or launch programmes: the American University of Beirut’s Dubai campus in September 2026 and Peking University HSBC Business School’s MBA and EMBA programmes in January 2027. Eleven higher education institutions opened in Dubai over the past three years, alongside 29% enrolment growth.
