What is Salik?
- Salik is Dubai's electronic toll system. A toll gate charges automatically each time a vehicle passes under it.
- Variable pricing (since 31 January 2025): peak, off-peak and free overnight windows replace the former flat AED 4 charge.
- VAT: since 1 June 2026, a 5% VAT is added to the toll tariff — the rates on this page are the final consumer prices including VAT.
